Hi, I'm uni, a computer science student who created this website as a unique creative outlet. Ever since I can remember, I've had a computer by my side, which quickly turned into my obsession. Here, you'll find my thoughts on technology, security, privacy, and occasionally, more general topics like music.
I wouldn't be able to tell you how I viewed the world unless I wrote it down. I mainly want to improve my writing and prose; I heard that the best thing is to just write. I find that it feels quite good to get some thoughts down on paper/typed outside of academics and work.
I believe that writing about and discussing the media we consume helps avoid mindless consumption. In a world where this kind of unthinking state is so commonplace, this website is my small way of resisting that pitfall. As someone who often has 40 unsorted research tabs open while learning about a new topic, don't expect super high-quality content here (although I do my best to polish up what I can).
Writing about myself has always been extremely challenging for me, so I encourage you to explore the rest of the website. The character you construct from reading everything else will probably give you a better idea of who I am than I can convey here.
Short, easy to say, and only 3 letters (all lower case)! Has always been my online alias and always will be; I feel a strong connection to the name. On some platforms I add the "yx" portion because it's more widely available (I'll buy uni.net for 10$/month please). Something about variables x and y? Not really... at least it looks cool.
