June skins update: Market is continuing to down trend, but that's okay. I'm happy with all of my current skins, and am expecting to hold for an extremely long timeframe. The above skins would for sure elevate my collection, but I essentially established all of my signature skins.
Ricoh GR IV
Been waiting to purchase the previous iteration for a while, so long in fact that the IV released in the meantime. I'm a fan of tiny technology, as an aspect of design and functionality. Ricoh has been the premium option for pocketable mirrorless cameras for forever. But the $1,700 price tag has always been a tough pill to swallow. I am not a photographer. But I do like taking photos. Surely just using my phone would suffice?
Decor
- Noguchi Lamp - ~$200
- Nesso Table Lamp - ~$Dupe Can't justify buying authentic, just way too expensive
- Some kind of print or poster? Looking for something to fill an empty space on the right side of my room. Could be a mid century modern print, or an actual artwork, or anything.
- Braun Alarm Clock - $50 I need to wake up properly because I turn off my phone alarm subconciously.
Herman Miller Ollin Gaming Monitor Arm
Super cool monitor arm that I could buy used for ~$55. The design is sleek and functional, and definitely looks more professional than my current arm.
Homelab
I want to add some smart home things to be able to use with HomeAssistant but there's not too much interesting stuff I can add in my apartment. I'm currently looking at the IKEA TIMMERFLOTTE temperature/humidity sensor, one for inside and another for outside. Just to see how easy they are to integrate into HA. My room definitely heats up at night due to my PC, and I wanted to compare the difference between indoors and outside temps.
Clothes
- Celine Teddy Jacket - $900
- Yves Saint Laurent Leather Jacket - $1100
- Acne Studios Work Jacket - $700
- Margiela GATs (Black and White pairs) - $400
No specific seasons listed for these, I'll probably buy whatever looks nice for a decent price. Been wanting the GATs for years but could never justify the price for sneakers.
Fragrances
- Comme des Garcons 2
- CHANEL Les Eaux Paris-Edimbourg
- CHANEL Allure Homme Sport
- Hermès Terre d'Hermes Eau Givree
- Maison Francis Kurkdjian Gentle Fluidity Silver
- SpongeBob SpongeBob Squarepants
- Creed Aventus Cologne - Was able to try this one at a duty free store at an airport. Smells like Aventus, but more citrusy and less smoky!
- YSL Y Iced
- Chanel Platinum Egoiste
Watches
- Cartier Tank Louis - ~$10,000 Definitely need to add a square case watch to my collection, preferably vintage and classic white enamel dial. Has to be a Louis, I don't want a quartz watch.
- Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Duoface - ~$10,000 A cooler Tank (because there's 2 of them).
- Grand Seiko - ~$6,000 In love with their elegance collection. Would like a smaller case size if possible but they just simply don't exist. I want one with the power indicator for their Spring Drive movement. If one was 36mm it would be perfect. EDIT: I'm interested in the SBGW321, a limited edition model releaed in the EU. The distinct red koi pattern is brilliant, and is somewhat obtainable.
- Rolex Datejust - (~$6,000) Though I already have a blue oyster perpetual, it makes me want the date window so badly.
- Rolex Daydate - (~$20,000) Preferably in RED?!
- Patek Philippe Calatrava - (~$!!!!!) One day.
- Blancpain Ultra Thin
- Breguet Classique
- Vacheron Constantin Historiques American 1921
- Cartier Santos Dumont - ~$10,000 The cooler Santos. Did you know it was named after the Brazilian flight aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont? There's debate on whether he has beat the Wright Brothers on being first to fly.
- AP Royal Oak 77350 - 34mm model, automatic.
Flipper Zero
Topre Keyboard
- Leopold FC660C
- HHKB Professional JP
Years ago, (6...?) I bought the KBDfans x BIIP Extended-2048 EC Keycap Set for a project board, but never really committed myself to building it. (I'm a big fan of the aesthetic of vintage Apple keyboards.) This set is specifically for Topre keyboards, which I've never tried personally, and not MX switches. Unfortunately, getting ahold of that specific Leopold 60% keyboard is extremely hard now as they've stopped producing it. It's only available on the second hand market but at absurd pricing. The HHKB alternative is not your usual HHKB, as it features arrow keys. This is also quite hard to find because again, it's not being produced currently and must be imported from Japan.
